An excellent version of the classic Dickens story. I was truly impressed by the amount detail packed into the presentation. Growing up, I used to listen to the Orson Welles version at Christmas, but I think this version will become a new listening tradition for my family during the holiday season, though my youngest daughter was actually quite frightened by the dark aspects and haunting details that lurk in shadows of this Christmas tale. It's one of the better versions of the audio presentation of a Christmas Carol out there. The ghost scenes are well executed. Sound design is implemented to effect.
